The button on top of the elbows i believe are the on/off for flow.

you guys are forgetting the whole point of this is remote monitoring and maintenance.
What does that mean? Well, it means that if there is a breach, contamination, burst,excess heat, bug infestation, bird poop or other oddity in zone A (between two elbows) they will get an alert via axnet monitoring or other system. When they get a ping about the breach they immediate turn of elbow A-B remotely in that zone. The flow in the tubes is still flowing and would still be under pressure but the new "end" is where they have contained that breach. The ground techs can then unhook that tube safeley and do as they wish with it. They have spent to much time setting this system up to not have control over it remoteley. Do you guys think the Siemens cpu is there for looks? Not directed at you avaritia1949 just adding to the list :)
