Completely false. You misunderstood the claim and misunderstood it badly. I caught your post.

No laws of thermodynamics are broken and no laws of thermodynamics were even claimed to be broken. Some people foolishly think there's a claim of energy "creation" rather than extracting energy from the plastic. False.

Is this a scam? Just asking....seems less than plausible, especially claims about the process that as anyone who is familiar with the first couple of laws of thermodynamics knows, are wildly ridiculous and impossible.

Then you are applying the laws of thermodynamics wrong... The energy balance is positive because the excess energy comes from less than unity efficiency converting plastic to oil...

It has positive energy balance like an amplifier has gain - by losing DC power... The plastic that is not converted to oil is not considered in the "input" energy.
