etc. is still ongoing and I expect etc. viability to be a major part of the companies future. This viable product has a bright future if and when the company correctly identifies the niche target market. Get that part done and etc. can become well established and then go after larger markets.
When etc. was first introduced I was a vocal skeptic. Mainly because the company portrayed itself as targeting the DIY market. That was not actually the case but if one goes back and reads the PR's and then visit the website it still appears etc. is mainly directed to the DIY consumer market.
I have spoken w/ Mr Brown about this a few days ago and offered him some of my thoughts and I think he is starting to see my point, although I'm not quite sure yet. :) I certainly don't mean to imply that Jeremiah is always right about stuff.... actually I'm dumb as a rock. But I can clearly see where etc. does have it's place right now in smaller niche markets. Crawl before you walk I guess.
