We will know tomorrow. I owned X amount since last week. I bought more today at 0.0081 (which did not show up on the tape by the way). I will know whether the 3 day rule is correct or not by the amount of dividend I get tomorrow.

Wow CaptainJim, I think you need to take your own advise before being so emphatic in your statements.
Please read the link provided by SPECWARII. Here it is again.

Now it is possible that this is considered a special dividend. In that case, the Ex Date will be the day after the Payable Date.
However, dividends can not be paid, and dates set by a PR alone. These things must be recorded with FINRA, and will be on the Daily List, as well as dividend calendars provided by your broker, as well as a few other sources.

No Declaration Date from 03/01/2010 to 4/30/2010

No Record Date from 04/01/2010 to 04/30/2010

Ask your broker if this company is scheduled to bay a stock dividend. Point out the PRs. Wanna bet he says he sees nothing about it other than the PRs.

I have been through a spin off/stock divi when RSHN spun off APRU. I remember very well how the system worked then. The system has not changed. Just call your broker. If you don't like the answer, ask for someone more knowledgeable on the subject.

Please refrain from insinuating others on this board are stupid, or lying. Some of us have real experiences to share.

Thanks,
