I did mine...6 years...not a lifer...but I knew what I was getting into. There during the first one. No one likes war, but those that are there are volunteers. I didn't have to, I did because I felt I should. Right or wrong - as a soldier, you carry out your orders..as long as they are legal. Enough.. about this.. I've already lost too many friends over there this time.. It doesn't change my mind regarding the fact we have a right to choose. I've lived in countries with a draft. Be lucky, even if that congressman's son isn't in the Army..we don't have a draft for people are free to make a choice.
