I'm working with a guy who's a consultant to most of the major aquariums in So. Cal...He's come up with a "natural" tank system. No (or very few) water changes...just replace evaporation...uses a separate center system in the bottom sump tank filled with miniature sea weed and a bio sea mud bottom. Only other mechanical is the protein skimmer. 10 months and it's working extremely well. Z
