First of all.. The average homeowner moves every 3 to 4 years. A renter, moves more often than the homeowner. So everytime you move you unscrew the lightbulbs? I personally will not pay $50 for a lightbulb, and times and styles change so rapidly, I doubt 17 years from now I'd even use it.

You obviously do not know the product. GE does not sell a bulb that produces ion's to kill oders, neither does Walmart, K-mart, or Home Depot. Do you DD before you lump this bulb in with the rest of the CFL's. I think a little DD will open your mind a little.
