I would go further to say it is not even a common knowledge to one skilled in the art.

it was never a simple or obvious diagnosis

And the BRACAnalysis test is not perfect either as it doesn't look at copy number variation. So if a woman has a 1st degree carrier but her own test is negative, I would still ask for copy number variation to be on the safe side.
