Perhaps there are some advantages with scottrade, but from what I've been hearing, they are picky with what penny stocks you can play.

Zecco is very penny stock friendly and has cheaper commissions. Something to keep in mind. Zecco got their shares yesterday morning, which may have been later then some of the others. Not sure what their rating would be on forward splits.
