#89998 RE: imho #89990

1) You state the tablet as primarily an information "consumer" ( i.e. read only ) and yet the goal is for "interactivity"? I agree that is the goal, but do you think the iPad or similar devices come close?

Not having used one it's hard to say... :) But I mean touchscreen interaction. Touch links, touch buttons, touch keyboard, finger-paint style swiping, etc. From what I gather, the iPad HI is very intuitive. To hear the jobs mob talk, the device disappears and it's just you and the content. It's a nice idea...

2) Continuing with the line of thinking. If you had a "interactive sheet of paper", what would you be missing, in order to be productive? [Hint: what if you had a plain sheet of paper? ]

A pencil? A typewriter? Crayons? :)

As I've said earlier, if you need a keyboard, there are a million cheap bluetooth keyboards out there, and if the tablet supports USB, a billion USB keyboards/mice. I personally have 2 bt keyboards, one for the PS3 and one for my Nokia N800 Internet Tablet. (tablets were much smaller before Apple hijacked the name. :) The latter keyboard folds into wallet-size btw.
