#49308 RE: geocappy1 #49306

Who ever said all the other publicly traded stocks immediately relect their market value? In fact many posters on this board including me have gone to great lengths to say the market is not perfect and does not always reflect true market value immediately for many stocks.

Geo, as hard as this may be to grasp, the fact of the matter is that when the news indicates a material change in valuation it will be reflected immediately in the stock's price.

As examples, look at what happened to MEE today as a result of the mining explosion in WV. Or GNVC last week, IDRA two weeks ago.

If the news is significant, there will be a gap, always. If the news doesn't turn out to be some bogus pile of crap, like the Dios PR, the change in valuation will at least stick if not lead to a further change in valuation.

And, please note that I'm being directionless here. A change in valuation, a permanent change, cna be good or bad.

What we got yesterday, on news that supposedly validated "our" research more than ever was the market equivalent of a big fat yawn.
