That's shame. More people out of work in the area. I guess the state is going to have dig deeper to help out. If only there was a brown field location nearby that some retail or commercial developer could get a hold of. Just think of the possibilities .. Oh wait... too late for that since no one had an interest in said property when it was first available. That and the fact that it would cost too much to clean up such an area.
Oh, what to do.. what to do!!! Wait .. I hear that Laidlaw Energy has plans to develop a property just like that in the area. Sure sounds like a win, win situation for all parties concerned!!!
But let's wait again, I'm sure that there are some locals that have a pie in the sky dream for the "best & highest use of the site", which by the way has never been revealed. There sure is some allure to such a property to keep some of the locals hopes and dreams alive. Hummmm... financial gains?????
