That is a big debate. The "value" of the non bk entities will be a part of the overall company value but it can be manipulated by mgmt especially if fresh start accounting is employed. Take VSTNQ for example, mgmt lowered the estimated value of VSTNQ's non bk holdings in their POR so low that the Ad Hoc EC attorney, said to the Board of Directors in a recent letter that, if mgmt truly considers the assigned value of teh non bk holdings to be valid, the Ad Hoc EC will buy them at that price. No response to that offer was made.
