Quick question - when you analyze stocks via charts, do the patterns and their implications still apply when major news comes out? Or is it a situation where significant company events change the entire analysis and any patterns get thrown out the window?

I know charting is a combination of art and science - just want to get your opinion. My instinct is that any news regarding A/S will be monumental, but I'm curious as to how charters view major events.

I hope the "bearish desending triangle" is as accurate a picture as the "bluesky" breakout picture we had several wks ago.lol
