Make no mistake--they are also saying "it really is not worth our time and effort to try and SELL those other operations (of course we have already tried and there is o market), so as to generate cash and/or fund what is happening in our main business line, otherwise we would have sold this stuff already.
So--the value of the stuff being distributed to shareholders is de minimus. Mox nix. Glad to see them put out a PR recognizing this fact and then moving on.
as a shareholder, I see this as good news, but I will file the spinoff shares in that portion of my portfolio designated as "lotto tickets" and will never think of it again (unless by some miracle we win that particular lottery)
