GM t_b, They did not formally extend the deadline but chose to give the buyers additional time as stated in their PR last Thursday {"forthcoming days...").
Today's PR is simply the update that they're still working on the final details of closing the deal.
I want to hear the deal is done as much as anyone but, at least, they have updated shareholders and I will continue to wait patiently.
