Because they were playing the short on the stock.... and some played right into thier hands.... C/C's almost alway result in a dive of the stock price because S/H's are expecting some huge revolation and the company doesn't meet the expectation.
85% of the time this is how it plays. traders need to learn to play both directions with pennies....
