PLAINTIFF SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION’S RESPONSE TO RULE TO SHOW CAUSE

In response to the Order issued on March 10, 2010 (Docket No. 48), Plaintiff Securities and Exchange Commission states that defendants Lawrence A. Powalisz and K&L International Enterprises, Inc. have since answered the complaint. (Docket Nos. 49 and 50, respectively.)

Further responding, the Commission resisted moving for a default judgment against these defendants amidst ongoing settlement discussions among and between the parties.
