It is interesting to wonder why the MMs are only selling enough each day to keep the stock relatively even in share price. They could have shorted way more shares today, given the low volume, but people would have bought them up. Regardless of volume recently they have shorted a little more than half the shares each day. They are in a pickle here.

Total misinformation in this post. DECREASING volume during the formation of this triangle is THE confirming factor that helps validate that the visual shape is truly a continuation triangle. The declining volume here is picture perfect and made a buy on the lower pattern support line a no-brainer.

Let them short CDIV down lower on decreasing volume is what I say..... That would only show very few are selling. Good try with a very misleading post.

Aren't you supposed to have decreasing volume during consolidation periods? Also, when the price increases don't you typically see a decline in volume due to the trading dollar volume rising on a smaller amount of shares?
