wulf.........That's exactly what they do.........most trades, and i mean the vast majority, are between MM's and when they are kind enough to let us trade they usually put themselves between those trades also.
The nas double and triple counts all the time...........the volume you see on CNBC and stated on research sites is a joke.

There was a Frbes article that was widely circulated and was written in '96 called "Taking investors for a ride.........someday the ride will stop" it showed that a full 96% of trades on the NASDAQ where between mm's not investor to investor.............nothing has changed and the chances anything will are slim and none...................do you know of a BB stock that has gone up on news or fundamentals and has kept it's gains??????????????I don't.............that would seem to say that no small co's have done anything worthwhile..............go look at charts for various co.'s in various sectors and each one looks like an exact copy.................how this can happen is beyond me.

Look at TSRG..........all the news since September is very positive...........the sector is extremely hot and nothing happens.............FOGC.........OKOK.........ABRG.........ASRG...........TGLEF.............AIPN...........and so on...........all in the energy sector and not one of them has a realistic sustained rally. It don't make sense.

wulf...........i have to correct something i said..........the article states that mm's involve themselves in 98% of the trades while 59% are between MM's........this means that only 2% of trades are between investors................the rest are either between mm's or have one or more mm's involved as middlemen before the two investors complete their trade............legal ripoff is all it is.
