How many shares do you think the buyer grabbed when they were diluting like 10billion shares in the past week? i bet the buyer grabed over 50% of those.

There are plenty of scams out there. I will agree to that.

Occasionally, however, you stumble across something legitimate.

The biggest one that comes to mind is what I call the stock of 2009 and no, I was not in it. Although I hit the buy order and was all set to purchase 10k shares at $.94. Then I got the message: This stock is not available for online trading. Please call in your order. No thanks.

That stock was VRML or at the time VRMLQ. Yes, a Q stock. A "bankrupt" stock. On September 11th, the stock opened at $.04. On December 31st, the stock was trading above $28 a share. Talk about kicking yourself. It traded this year above $33 a share.

So, yes, there are opportunities out there that do work and make you rich overnight. Is this going to be one of them? *shrugs* No clue. That is the fun of the market!

They have patents. They have desirable technology. They may be a little cash deficient at present, but what better time for a company who sees a very lucrative product enhancing their profit and revenue stream to make what appears to be a "generous offer" to ensure sole intellectual property rights? Doing so at this point in time could potentially make them billions.

Yes, the PR's are vague. That is a typical legal stance, because anything can happen. Then, you have to consider what the company said: we have received a LOI. We are in the process of approving the sale. We will have a conference call prior to Friday. The conference call is set for Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. PDT. They have done and followed through on everything to date.

If it was a true scam, they would have pushed the call to Friday. They would have had the call after market hours, not mid-week when the market is still open.

There are a lot of potential positives here. Enough that I took a small gambling stake and will await the outcome. I will not become a millionaire, but I will not be a pauper either. If the sale falls through or never existed, well, nobody told me to buy. I pushed the buy button. I could have pushed the sell button for a reasonably nice profit. However, I will take full responsibility for my actions and will not pass the blame to anyone else.
