FFF, what are your views on the production numbers that CAM gave on the show?

I believe he is being super conservative due to the problems over the last year.

As Dave McMullin stated Hidden Treasure contains 1.7% copper.
Therefore ore input of 2250 tonnes per day will contain 38.25 tonnes of 100% copper. Which is 84,150 pounds.

CAM stated that at this input the amount of concentration produced will be 25 tonnes. Lets assume that this contains 30% copper (as per previous numbers from the mill). Therefore this is 7.5 tonnes of 100% copper which is 16,500 pounds.

Therefore the flotation process is only extracting 19.61% of the copper in the ore.

Originally i heard the number they were shooting for was between 60-65% with a further 30% being extracted from the copper tailings by the SX/EW or cementation process. Therefore extracting about 90-95% of the copper in the ore.

So at an ore input of 2250 tonnes, the flotation mill should produce about 75 tonnes of Concentrate at 30% copper. Triple the 25 tonnes figure stated.

I suspect Charles is following his principle of under promising and over delivering. Which i can understand but i think there is serious upside. Thoughts?

EDIT: imagine what the figures will be with 3375 tonnes of ore input.

Do we have any details on the Massey contract? I'd like to know how many years the company is required to sell at this discounted rate.

If I missed a follow-up, apologies. But I was under the impression that the contract was for one year at the $40 rate and then went to market value.

Is this right or wrong?

FFF, I just got done reading some of your posts and it was also my understanding last year that the Massey contract was for the first 75K @ 16.50 a ton at approx 0% interest. They then had the first rights to the mag above and beyond that at fair market price. To me it seems to say that they have a buyer for all that they can produce. It could pay off that loan a lot sooner then anticipated. IMO
