I don't recall, the solar business for FDEI seems pretty new to me. Though it is a popular business to be in and development of EFFICIENT solar cells would be a big winner over oil. Cars could run on Solar if the technology was efficient enough. Their patent explanation almost makes sense but is difficult to understand without a diagram. IMO, if solar cells were stacked on edge with fibre like prisms to angle the light vertically from the sun to horizontally directed at the cell, it wouldn't improve efficiency or cost but would allow a smaller area to put out higher wattage.

Hard to tell when news is real or not because the lack of response from the company and the agreements mentioned are overseas. Hope for the best.
