I have already said I didn't really care for JXM's choice of language, but that I consider him an on line friend because we have never had cross words.

IOW, he has always been extremely civil to me, and I to him.

If someone is not posting/responding to you as you wish to be posted/responded to, you might try looking in the mirror as to the way you post/respond to others.

I am supporting a friend, and I am sure he would do the same for me.

I am not defending him though.

He is capable of doing that himself without my assistance.
