Nope, I don't run cows on my property. There quite a few range cattle around me, though. I haven't seen enough quail on my property to make a decent hunt, but imagine there are places around here where quail are plentiful. We have a ton of Mexican bluejays (big blue raven-sized birds) that probably keep the quail at bay. Duck tanks? Nah, I don't think so. The stock tanks here are too small to attract ducks. There are areas called cieniegas, where the water table lies near the surface, that might attract ducks in the right time of year.
I'm not a hunter, but am an avid fisherman. I am a firearms buff, mostly handguns and shotguns, but devote ammo to target shooting and varmint dispatch (and personal/home protection - being this far out, ya gotta depend on yourself).
I split my time between here and Ahwatukee. We oughta get together for a cupper of coffee sometime.
