#1733 RE: McMook #1732

the easy answer is that it is a blood filter similiar to what is used for dialysis in kidney failure.

big difference is that it isn't as hard on a patient as regular dialysis. the filtering is supposed to be much more selective than what is being used now.

it can also filter viruses from the blood..flu, hepatitis c, ebola, aids....

a japanese study showed that hepatits c patients who underwent dialysis before interferon treatments had a higher cure rate, but most are too ill to do regular dialysis.

there are two sizes, 1arge for use in hospital or clinic and small for field and military use. can be used with a pump or allowed to work with the normal flow of blood.

fyi... i came across an article today that described this as a dangerous stock because there aren't enough shares in the float. the statement was that any large volume in trading makes it susceptible to large price swings. this makes it vulnerable to
"pump and dump" schemes. so i looked at the math and came up with the following:

available shares 60.17m
float 46.43m
% insider shares 16.94, which leaves 38.56m available for trading.

today's volume - 130,712 which is below the 10 day - 295,043 and the 50 day - 295,043. the price is still up a little.

bottom line is i don't think the daytraders and pump n dump people are interested in this stock. it has shown fairly steady gains except for that single spike last fall ( i think that too was a large investor. ) i think a lot of small investors and maybe one or two large ones are getting in a little at a time because they see the potential for long-term growth. it's going to be a large company one day ( i believe ) but it will take time.

this is all my opinion. gltya
