It does, but I think your bedroom is in the wrong house. Intel is being used as the front end web server, and Opteron is being used as the database server.

The pleasant surprise for Intel is that they were now chosen as the front end server. The Opteron was previously chosen as the database server because of the larger address size 64 bits. This was at a time when Intel did not have a 32-64 offering. Now they do. The company spokeperson indicated that Intel would have been the selection even for the back end if they then had a solution, which they now have. It may implicitly indicate that Intel's solution is more than just equal to AMD.
