No one would know this, some would expect it. It was previously stated by the company that tomorrow will be the final day for the buyback. They might buy, or they may have been done earlier this week, it's all irrelevant.
Predicting when a news item will be released is a tough deal indeed. Best to have a plan maintain (or not maintain) a position, and let the news come to you.
