I'm not quite sure how you get dropped it by looking at the latest ad....R&D testing means just what it says, whether or not the motor makes the grade as advertised is another story

RSC Blade is a car with proven motor technology ready for use

So it would be a no brainer to build some of those while peter's waiting to see the outcome of the Hybrid motor....
