Lynn, respectfully disagree about years of research to make one.

I already have a working generator that I built from 3” PVC, 36- 5/16 x 12” stainless welding rods and an accumulator and regulator with pressure relief value. The only difference from the HHHI version is the micro processor used to control output.

I have installed it in my 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2L and I also have more HP and better economy. Can’t really tell yeah how much, but it is noticeable.

I’m not interested in developing a hydrogen generator for sale, just tinkering around. I was hoping to develop a generator to run a 5HP / 5000W electrical generator to supply my work shop.

As for the grants. Do a search on the Department of Energy grants, It will explain the process in depth. As I explained in my earlier post, government only gives out research grants to universities. However the grant that SSEV is seeking is from the EPA given to municipalities for emissions and fuel conservation for improving their fleets.

If you look at the EPA grant picture, every city in the USA with more then 20,000 Population will be jumping at this opportunity to save BIG $$$ on energy cost, besides the grant monies. That’s a lot of units!
