The shorting statement within this PR is kind of surprising. The short volume of 3-5 million is nothing compared to the O/S, A/S and Float. It is relatively high in terms of daily volume but when volume is so anemic, it's not relative. Especially since we're only talking about $17.5K USD here at this level of .0035...

Thoughts on the PR?

The first part went way past my expectations. TSA? ATF? GE? TSA and ATF get around if you know what I mean, they would use a lot of kits regularly! GE has deep pockets and they love to invest in good companies, especially if they think the future is great and profitable!

I'm curious who this Chicago company is ...

Getting designs ready for the kits would appear they are very interested and wanting to partner with Identa and Jant means they are very confident in these products and how well they will sell.

I also like the part near the end that states these are only part of the activities going on. I have a feeling there is a LOT we don't even know about, other than the progress such as marketing efforts, DOD results,... that we are still waiting for.

If not mistaken Naval EOD Technology Division

is the DOD contract Identa has been waiting on since originally forecast end of negotiations for Dec 15 2009.

The new Ammonium Test kits (EX377) we received last Friday suggests these are some kind or revamped kit possibly the labeling issue reading between the lines. Certainly good to know the DOD is still interested and testing but 3 months? Wonder what caused that delay lordy boys glad I didn't hold my breath they'd be burying me at sea!

If not versed in Identa's style of PR's keep in mind these all constitute forward looking statements. It is encouraging to note management has disclosed the PROJECTED sales from this mystery Chicago company and that news from US Army is expected in the coming week. Um devil's advocate here WHICH coming week? Another forward looking statement which could be taken different ways. It's a good effort by the company to keep shareholders informed here but still tentative though seemingly closer to closure IMHO.
