That is bad news that AMD does business with Iran. I see Hewlett Packard does too. I am betting that some of these systems HP ships to Iran have Intel processors, so it doesn't seem like much of a difference in terms of the end result...
I don't feel surprise to hear that. Apparently, AMD's products can not be outsold and there are huge invetories in its warehouse and most of them are old products. That is why, AMD decided to sell its products in Iran because AMD can charge more for its legacy products than other nations.
