As long as it's a benefit to the people of the country I can live with it. I think anybody here would be hard pressed to say that they don't know someone that benefits from medicare or social security. Those are expensive programs...but the benefits outweigh the cost. However, can the same be said for the bank bailouts or this ridiculous excuse for a "healthcare plan" or our endless state of war with countries around the world for no other reason than imperialist obsessions and our servile fealty to Israel? How many lives and dollars have been lost in that folly? ?
