I was just responding to Sully's post saying that they were "audited" fins. Auditing and "authenticating" are two different processes. "Authenticating" is just a legal opinion that indicates that the lawyer believes that the numbers provided by the management are true. It carries NO weight in court. "Auditing" means that a licensed CPA has reviewed all pertinent documentation beyond just financial numbers provided by management. A CPA's audit carries legal weight in court. It's also interesting the Einhorn never "authenticated" the EOY financials released last January.
