there is no excuse for a 64 team playoff that starts the first weekend of december and ends the second week of jan...
you simply play the first round games at sites that have
the bowls that start in the division champions home stadium,
than week 2 you play games at places that had bowl games like
the gmac,champ sports,fort worth,las vegas,mpc computers,motor city and independence bowls..than week 3 you move to the insight,alamo,continental tire,emerald and holiday bowls..
than off to music city,liberty sun,peach and cotton bowls..
than as you round out with outback,gator and capital one
and each year you rotate semi final and final between rose,fiesta,orange bowl and sugar like they do now...

same money and probably even more can be raised and stakes at paid out per the amount of rounds you last...

like the hurricanes lost cost them instead of making 14 million at the sugar to 2 million at the peach..
