Thanks for the suggestions al44. I have thought seriously about a shotgun with that distinct sound of loading her up is usually enough to scare someone off and if need be it is hard to miss your target. But if someone were to break in while I was not around, being shot by my own weapon is not appealing. Got the barter part covered, I should have mentioned that. I knew I would forget a few things.
