HAVING TO MAKE JUDGEMENTS, DECISIONS, ASSESSMENTS.
It is difficult to sit in your office or in the lounge chair and have any understanding about an investment where folks talk about "DD" like you can pick some up at the pharmacy and when there is no transparency. I understand that it is about learning what you can. But I do not believe that I would get much argument here if I stated that it has been real slim pickings.
The problem is that there are just enough ripoff artists and stock scams, and we know about them from the PINKYS to the BLUE CHIPPERS, that we all are gun shy, particularly with a start up company and during market volatility and an 80% loss in pps . But if we do not air our fears and apprehensions and positive perspectives on a board like this, we have little chance of checking our reality.
The CM information today struck a cord of credibility where there has been none. Not a little, but none, at least in my book. The first NOTE, finally something, was good. Nothing great, but at least a stab at communicating. The next one was delivered as promised leaving us all wondering if that would be a one time occurrence.
Now, as he indicated, we have another NOTE with some of the most significant information that I have seen released. Charles is gaining in credibility in my book. I realize that my sentiments and a dollar are worth 555 shares of CPRK stock. But nevertheless, my more positive sentiments are worth something to me.
As for our showing up, I look forward to seeing you there. I do hope that the company and other members on this board find it worthwhile and interesting enough to make the journey and spend the time getting to know one another, miners and investors.
Only three months to go and I haven't heard anything on the posts as to how any plans may be progressing. I think that everyone is just waiting to see if a calamity can be averted. Me, I just plan on having a good trip, take some chocolates to Kita and hope for some good food at the Pavilion and a nice little parade and car show. If Copper King rises to the occasion, they will have had the opportunity and no doubt set the stage for many great rendezvous in the future.
If the Copper King agenda steps up to the plate, maybe it will give a lot of us an opportunity to get our feelings on a more amicable level, better grounded and more realistic. That's be nice idea anyhow.
So, as you say, we'll JUST SHOW UP.......
