Also, looking at comparative clean coal technologies, apparently everybody (including the DOE) is behind the curve in treating low grade lignite coal sources which is predominate in China and India. The US certainly is the leader but we still just pump it out and like donkeyheads are stuck on spending large amounts of money scrubbing and encapsulating the toxic affects of burning coal after the fact.

Geez, when are we going to get it? CCTC's patent is so logical. By removing up to 90% percent of the toxicities beforehand in their heat process AND creating a fuel source AND by improving the burn rate of the lignite, it shouldn't be such a puzzle. Also, on a personal note, I think anybody who tries is going to bump heads into CCTC's patent including these guys @ the University of Wyoming:
