This shorting stuff seems very bizarre for me. I expect that the shorting has been massive on last weeks and something must be carefully hidden about real figures IMO. Couldn't we alert the SEC to verify all these short trades by MMs ? Unfortunately I'm living in France and I am not familiar with these procedures in US but I would have done already if I knew better the rules here !!!

if they naked shorting they don't have to cover.. I don't see the SEC enforcing naked shorting

Respectfully disagree with you about covering and the volume being different. I agree with pick em low's post FWIW.
