snibe, mm can short all day long. that is in fact defined
as liquidity.

That legislation does not pertain to the mm---The mm is "charged", so to speak,, to maintain an orderly mkt as he excutes the trades---he may short the mkt to keep it orderly, but not to affect it..

I agree they will still be able to short the first 10% in the pps decline from what I understand...but it is put there to prevent a stock from freefalling all together within a trading session ,which IMO is a good thing ...if it takes a few days longer good because that extra time can make a big difference look at how CCTC ran last week and how hard it fell from that one day run..perfect example
