I suppose you want me to explain to you the hidden art of alchemy as well! LOL. Answer. I don't have the first clue. Not sure anyone does.

I'm thinking nothing can be imposed retrospectively so for stocks already shorted my guess is they just can't be shorted quite as much as before. Maybe the MMs knew this was coming and so yesterday was their "blaze of glory, go out in style with extra money" day before they begrudgingly adhere to the new rules but here's the thing.

WILL THEY?

What's the penalty should they breach?

SLAP ON WRISTS? FINE? PRISON? OR BOTH?

Will the SEC computerize all the exchanges whereby any intended additional shorting will become practically impossible anyway?

Or will such a concept apply only to certain exchanges and they won't care about the Pinks?

Answer. WHO KNOWS?

IS ANYONE GOING TO TELL US?

Does anyone even have an idea when the rules become effective?
