I wonder if the exchanges are only buying up and not really selling? On E*Trade, I do not see any trade amount ticking since 8:34 am. On Fidelity I see the shares/bids ticking off, some from Nasdaq and some from OTC trades.

I am guessing if it was fully open though that we would see a much higher volume being traded.

I have seen this happen before... a stock is halted, and some of the exchanges test their system to be sure it works ok with such a price drop. I don't understand it but have seen it before and felt that is what they were doing.

We will just have to wait and see.
