#3664 RE: Land Agent #3663

Let's use my position in WAMKQ as an example:

$25.00 pay out per share
$00.23 my cost basis
======================

$24.77 taxable profit
X .15 LTCG Tax Rate
======================
$3.72 Federal tax due

$24.77 taxable profit
-$3.72 Tax
=======================
$21.05 PURE NET PROFIT

$21.05/$0.23 = 9152% Profit

Texas isn't the only state that doesn't have state income tax..... couple off the top of my head is Florida, Nevada, Wyoming, and Alaska actually pays you.....

Now some think the preferred's will be absorbed into JPM at which then we can just collect our APR off of them and yes we would be taxed on those and not at 50% lol......

I have 80% of mine in Retirement accounts half Roth/half traditional.... so I pay zilch.... since I have had my roth for 5 years if I were to pull it out it would still be less than income tax......

My other 20% is in a cash account and I would suspect most like me pays the straight 35% -

just trying to help ya out.........
