'stockmen' it's called ''climbing the wall of worry.'' Every bull mkt does it all the way to the top.(2013-14 is my top time.) Remember the scare that Greenspan put into the mkts with his late 1997 ''irrational exuberance'' speech.??,,,,,,Naz was below 2000. Then we had the ''asian-contaigen'' currency crisis followed by the total collapse of Long Term Capital Mngmnt. (nasdaq went down to 1700 from 2200.) Yet merely 3 years later it hit 5100 (way more than doubling since greenspans' speech,) before finally finishing. (HUGE killing for me from 1995 till 2000 set us up for the rest of our lives; then gold stocks for 5-years, and now etfs and option strats.) This time is NO different IMO.
