Really don't have a take......I would assume that --- no, make that a guess -- that perhaps CVI discovered how much money was or was not easily available to collect if they were to get a judgment. When they thought the process to collect any substantial amount of $$ was going to be difficult, time consuming AND expensive, they thought some type of a settlement of the entire matter was better.
Sure doesn't seem like we're expecting too much when we wish for some type of a release about the settlement and its effect on the company. I realize that PR's cost $$ (which CVI may not have) but I would think the $50,000? that Wally received would be enough to allow for at least one release every month.
