thanks for the update with SFI. the difference between the preferred shares vs the common stock should not be an issue if they continue to buy back the stock at the rate you mentioned. (longterm).

my indifference is purely personal and their is some residual bitter taste that goes back to November 2008- March 2009.

beyond that, SFI is not crystal city....lol and a decent long term investment.

dont have any holdings in SFI, and i own shares in GKK, RSO, and VNO. i flip 1/2 my shares of GKK due to its volatility.

and happy SFI is getting rid of some their dead wait properties, thinking they should have done it earlier.....will be following more closely.
