In other words - as soon as the cereal is made, it is gone... sold and consumed... no grain saved for a rainy day... there was a time in this country's history (in my lifetime) that we had an 18 year supply of grain and then one day came, I think in the seventies, when Russia had bad times and we sold most of the grains to them - leaving our country's pantry nearly bare... we have never recovered.
