I can help you with what i have learned - but its a FWIW. The OBV is a "buying" indicator and the accumulation is a "holding' indicator so to speak. IF thye match up- thats so much the better.

If I see one whose OBV and volume are UP but th accumulation is down - I pass. What it can mean is that there is selling of new shares into the rally and of course the PPS does not rise commensurate with the buying volume.
i like to watch the CCI and the CMF both going up together- one giving agreement to the other.
accumulation -IMO- is one of the most important things to watch - IF its going up nicley it signals peeps are holding and due to confidence and it typically means bullish sentiment and a rise in the pps. I hope that helps.

and of course volume is the fuel for any move.

go check out lowtrade's board. he explains the difference between them very well.

it basically has to do with the evolution of those indicators.

OBV was first but it least accurate. Accum\Dist improved on OBV
