...until Sinopec/Addax must notify the JDA regarding their commitment to the next phase of exploration in their JDZ blocks or file for an extension. Since Chevron has committed to the second phase in Block 1, I would be very surprised if Sinopec/Addax did not commit to Phase II in Blocks 2, 3, & 4. - Longtimer

Just a reminder that Sinopec/Addax must inform the JDA of their committing to Phase II of their PSCs by February 12/13, next Friday/Saturday (if they have not already done so).

However, do not be surprised if we don't hear anything, because:

1. They don't want it made public.
2. They file for an extension for filing their commitment.
3. They already have filed and have not made it public.

I have asked Dan Keeney that ERHC publicize this event when it happens, if possible. - Longtimer
