One of the OSX Bluetooth firmware updates from earlier this year added the headset profile to make the Jabra unit work. I have given up on mine, both with the Powerbook and my Siemens phone, I don't know who the culprit is, but the connection constantly drops. Let us know how it works for you, I don't know where the blame lays, with Jabra, Siemens or Apple's brew of Bluetooth.
I suspect it is not apple because my BT500 mouse constantly works as does Bluephone Elite for OSX and the ability to send midi & image files to my phone, but I have given up with the Jabra headset, because it disconnects itself and is too difficult to relink while driving
I am totally jealous of your U2 library and would trade anything for that collection in a lossless compression format.

I'm jealous of your getting that U2 iPod and the collection of songs! Must be the 4th Generation wheel on that one. My iPod is 3rd Generation. Which Mac did you order and how long is the wait?
